Online Bill Pay for Tax Bills
The Town of Orleans, in partnership with Invoice Cloud is pleased to offer taxpayers an easy and secure way to view, print, and pay their Motor Vehicle, Personal Property, and Real Estate tax bills. Invoice Cloud offers several options for online bill payment:
- ACH payments (Electronic Fund Transfer) from your bank account. Fee is $0.40
- Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit and debit cards. Fee is 2.95% of tax paid, $1.95 minimum.
- An additional fee of $0.95 will be charged for the pay-by-phone payments.
Fees are automatically calculated and will be shown on the payment page for approval before you submit your payment. Fees are paid directly to the service provider, not to the Town of Orleans, and are non-refundable. All municipalities are passing along these same costs for convenience fees per transaction, as municipalities are not legally allowed to absorb such costs. Fees will appear as a separate charge from the bill amount on your bank or credit card statement. There will be an additional charge of $15.00 due to your processing of an incorrect account or routing number, and a fee of $25.00 for a returned check due to insufficient funds.
Receive Email Notification of Tax Bills:
Residents can receive email alerts when tax bills have been generated and be reminded via email that payment due dates are approaching. Click here to send us a note with your email address to sign up for these reminder notices.
Get a Copy of your Bill:
Residents can get a copy of their mailed paper bill online. Simply log into your eBill account and search for your bill to view and print a copy of your bill. We suggest you save a copy of this bill to your computer for your records.
