2018 SEASONAL POSITIONS
SHOREBIRD MONITORS – Seasonal full time summer position. The key requirements are enthusiasm for natural resource conservation, the willingness to learn, and the ability to work well in a group. Monitors must be at least 18 years of age, minimum high school diploma and be able to withstand heat, rain and biting insects. The Shorebird Monitoring Program is an essential part of the Over-Sand Vehicle program. Monitors will receive shorebird training and regular safety/communication training. 20-40 hours per week, July 1 – August 31. Salary starting at $15.54 per hour.
HIGHWAY SEASONAL LABORERS - Mowing, trimming and light roadway construction and other related duties. 40 hours per week. Salary starting at $13.64 per hour
PARKS SEASONAL LABORERS - Land care management, light construction, trash pickup and other related duties. Weekends required. Two positions available: One starting April 1 through Sept. 15 and one starting May 15 through November 4. 40 hours per week. Salary starting at $13.64
GATE OFFICERS - Detail-oriented, fast, accurate and responsible person to sell daily beach tickets and verify beach stickers. Weekends required. Day and night shifts available. Positions available weekends starting Memorial Day, then full time June 16 through Sept. 3. Up to 40 hours per week. Salary starting at $13.64
PARKING ATTENDANTS - Monitoring traffic movement on and off the beach and parking areas, maintain boardwalks, sweeping, trash pickup and cleaning restrooms. Positions available weekends starting Memorial Day, then full time June 16 through Sept. 3. Minimum age 16. Salary starting at $12.06
LIFEGUARDS - Waterfront certified lifeguard to work at Nauset Beach or Skaket Beach. Tested competitively. Minimum age 17. 40 - 42 hours per week. Positions available June 16 through Sept. 3 - HOUSING AVAILABLE. Salary starting at $15.24
CUSTODIANS - Nightly maintenance, thorough cleaning and restocking of men's and ladies' rooms at Nauset and Skaket Beaches and various other locations. Positions available May 14 – Oct 8. 40 hours per week. Salary starting at $16.88
