The Orleans Police Department is accepting applications for the position of police officer. Minimum qualifications: U.S. citizen, at least 21 years of age, valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a MA L.T.C., bachelor’s degree at the time of appointment. Applicants must pass an oral interview panel, Chief of Police interview, background investigation, medical exam, physical ability test (PAT), physical fitness test, psychological exam, M.P.T.C. approved police academy and must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of a Police Officer.
