OUTREACH WORKER - COUNCIL ON AGING
The Orleans Town Administrator is accepting application for the position of Outreach Worker for the Council on Aging. Flexible schedule of 30 hours per week may include weekends. Starting salary is $25.86 per hour with full benefits.
 
Applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field and at least two years’ experience working with seniors, or any equivalent combination of experience and education.  Must use own vehicle and meet town’s insurance requirements.  Mileage reimbursement provided.

FIREFIGHTER/EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN
The Orleans Fire-Rescue Department is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician. This is a 24 hour shift position in which the firefighter works a rotating 24 hours on, 24 hours off, 24 hours on, 5 days off. Candidates must be a Massachusetts certified Emergency Medical Technician.
 

The appointed firefighter must attend and successfully complete the Massachusetts Recruit Firefighter training program in Stow, MA (10 weeks), and must establish residency within 7 miles of the Orleans Fire Station with 12 months of appointment. Preference given to MA Recruit Academy graduates/ProBoard certified Firefighter I/II. The starting salary is approximately $54,589 plus $5,100 EMT stipend.

The Orleans Fire-Rescue Department is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Firefighter/Paramedic. This is a 24 hour shift position in which the firefighter works a rotating 24 hours on, 24 hours off, 24 hours on, 5 days off.

Candidates must be a Massachusetts certified Paramedic with authorization to practice under C.I.E.M.S.S. within 8 months of hire.

The appointed firefighter must attend and successfully complete the Massachusetts Recruit Firefighter training program in Stow, MA (10 weeks), and must establish residency within 7 miles of the Orleans Fire Station with 12 months of appointment. Preference given to MA Recruit Academy graduates/ProBoard certified Firefighter I/II. The starting salary is approximately $54,589 plus $7,600 paramedic stipend.

PART-TIME MAINTENANCE WORKER - DEPT. OF PUBLIC WORKS & NATURAL RESOURCES
The Orleans Town Administrator is accepting applications for the position of part-time Maintenance Worker in the Parks Division of the Dept. of Public Works & Natural Resources. Position is 19.5 hours per week with no benefits, $21.19 – $25.78, depending on qualifications and experience.
 
Work requires moderate to strenuous physical effort in performing a variety of tasks indoors and outdoors, year-round.  Duties involve care, maintenance, and repair of Town-owned property. Experience required, one year in grounds maintenance, including pruning and one year building maintenance preferred.
