From the Cape Cod National Seashore Chief Ranger/Orleans Fire-Rescue Department:
Cape Cod National Seashore is conducting a prescribed fire on Wednesday, March 12th, at Fort Hill in Eastham. Based on current wind direction forecasts, it is possible that smoke may blow towards the Freeman Lane and the area of Snow Point. Fire personnel will strive to keep smoke at a minimum. Ignition will be after 9 a.m. and dependent on conditions.
