Orleans Emergency Management Team Alert:
A winter storm is approaching tonight and lasting through Wednesday. Expect very strong winds of up to 65 mph Tuesday with heavy rain, possibly mixing with snow. There is a serious possibility of losing power. Please plan now for a potential outage.
If you lose power, call Eversource at 1-800-592-2000. If you see wires down, stay away and call 911.
Travel may be difficult during the storm. Use extreme caution or stay off the roads. Currently there are no plans to open a warming/charging center, but that decision will be closely evaluated based on power and weather conditions.
Now is the time to prepare for your safety and the safety of your family.
