Orleans Gift House

The Gift House is Open Year Round

Friday through Monday, 10 AM to 2 PM

The Gift House is a small salvage operation on the grounds of the Orleans Transfer Station. The purpose of the Gift House is to allow residents an orderly and clean place to leave good, sound items that could be reused by fellow residents and to save the town solid waste costs. You must have a Transfer Station sticker in order to visit the Gift House.

Please follow the rules and do not leave things dropped off in front when the Gift House is closed. If you have questions about what is acceptable for drop-off, please see the lists below.

Are you interested in volunteering at the Gift House? The duties include receiving items as they are dropped off, as well as helping with cleaning and organizing. Volunteers work only two-hour shifts with two or three other workers. Anybody wanting to sign up, please call or email Gift House Director Michael Cuoco at 508-255-2256 or email Martha.
