The Orleans Select Board voted unanimously on June 15, 2022 to take action in addressing clean and healthy waters in Orleans, protecting our environment, wildlife, residents, visitors, pets, economy and property values by supporting a Home Rule Petition: An Act of Prohibiting the Application of Fertilizer in the Town of Orleans.
We thank you for your support of the Petition at the October 17, 2022 Fall Town Meeting, which is now Bill H.994 at the State Legislature, and was reported favorably by the Committee on Environment and Natural Resources on 3/21/2024.
