On Friday November 18th the Orleans Police Department placed into service a new ford explorer as the towns animal control vehicle. The department made the decision to replace the existing animal control vehicle with a smaller more cost effective vehicle. The explorer replaces the 2003 ford expedition and is the department’s only 4 wheel drive vehicle. Officer Duane Boucher is the departments animal control officer and is currently assigned to the day shift.
