INVITATION TO BID – Solid Waste Transfer Trailer
The Orleans Town Administrator will receive sealed bids for the purchase and installation of one (1) SOLID WASTE TRANSFER TRAILER for use at the Orleans Transfer Station. Bids will be received on or before 3:30 p.m. on February 11, 2011 at which time all bids will be opened and read publicly. Any bid received after this date and time will be returned to the applicant unopened. No exceptions will be made. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked “SOLID WASTE TRANSFER TRAILER”. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at the Town Administrator’s Office, 19 School
Road, Orleans, MA 02653. Faxed bids will not be accepted.
Bid award will be made within 30 days of bid opening. The Town Administrator reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities to the extent allowed by law, and to make the award as deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
